The Peltor ComTac XPI headset meets the most stringent military requirements for reliability and functionality. Protects hearing from harsh sounds, amplifies weak sounds, allows receiving and transmitting a signal in a noisy environment.
The XPI headset is an updated version of XP. The beeps have been replaced with a female voice telling you which buttons are being pressed. It is also equipped with the latest tactical features, such as an equalizer, which allows the user to fully concentrate on the task at hand.
The MT73 microphone has technically significant improvements: improved noise reduction, water resistance (immersion to a depth of up to 3 m for 30 minutes) and dust protection (IP68), improved communication in windy conditions.

Active protection function with new settings:
- in-ear mode — increase the volume when using in-ear headphones at very high volume;
- balance mode — adjust the balance between the left and right earphone;
- equalizer mode — adjustment and removal of high or low frequencies;
- disable time mode — specify the time after which the tactical function is activated again.
Equipped with a detachable microphone.
The functions of external radio communication and active protection are independent of each other, which ensures their maximum reliability and flexibility in operation.
The external radio channel has priority and is transmitted even when the headphones or power are turned off.
Headphones automatically turn off in case of inactivity.
Low battery alert. An audible signal sounds 5 minutes before the batteries run out.
The operating time of the battery pack is up to 500 hours depending on the external temperature.
Neckband made of stainless steel, braided with thermoplastic polyolefin.
Equipped with a Peltor J11 connector for connecting a PTT button (not included).
