Modular Integrated Communications Helmet, also known as Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) - "Advanced Combat Helmet". Armored helmet, which is in service with the US Army. The ACH helmet has replaced the PASGT helmet.
In comparison with the PASGT helmet, the ASN has a reduced protection area, removed the front ledge - “visor” (English front brow) to improve upward visibility, and also to facilitate the installation of night-vision goggle mounts. The side edges of the helmet are raised in such a way that the entire bottom edge of the helmet behind the temples is "flat" compared to the PASGT, which has an outward curved back. This feature provides better compatibility with various communications headsets, as well as better audibility in the absence of such equipment. The result is an increase in the field of view and an improved perception of the sound background, which together provide better control of the combat situation compared to previous generation helmets.

As a result, the Army Command concluded that the advantages of a low-profile helmet outweighed the disadvantages associated with a smaller area of protection, especially in today's urban environments.

The protective part of the helmet is made of organo-textolite based on a new improved type of Kevlar fabric. The "surface density" of the first batches of ASN helmets was 11 kg/m2, with a protective part thickness of 8.13 mm. The ACH is superior to the PASGT helmet in terms of resistance to a 9mm full-shell bullet (weight 8.04 g).

The helmet comes with a suspension system and protective pads for comfortable wear.
