Armor Source LLC's high performance ballistic helmet is used by the US Army in operations around the world.

This helmet is made according to the ASN standard. Providing the best combination of protection and maneuverability.

Ballistic protection is a key factor in the performance of ArmorSource helmets, all of which are manufactured to either CO/PD 05-04 (which is the standard for all MICH helmets)

or NIJ IIIA which is capable of withstanding projectiles as small as 9mm. up to .44 Magnum.

Thanks to the pillow system, the risk of brain injury in the event of contact is reduced. The standard mounting configuration is a 4-point suspension system.

In comparison with the PASGT helmet, the ASN has a reduced protection area, removed the front protrusion - the “visor” to improve upward visibility, and also to facilitate the installation of night vision device mounting rails.

The side edges of the helmet are raised so that the entire bottom edge behind the temples is "flat" compared to the PASGT, which has an outward-curved back.

This feature provides better compatibility with various headsets of communication equipment, as well as better audibility in the absence of such equipment.

The result is an increase in the field of view and improved perception of the sound background, which together provides better control of the combat situation compared to previous generation helmets.

The protective part of the helmet is made of organo-textolite based on a new improved variety of Kevlar fabric.
